I'm over-educated and underemployed (BS in Biochemistry, MS in Environmental and Occupational Health, and an MS in Biotechnology). I do Environmental Health & Safety/Indoor Air Quality consulting for a living. I read, sometimes write or make visual art, I appreciate good food, obscure films, art (including surreal), and music (from bluegrass to world to gothic to reggae to techno). I like to travel; my most exotic out of mainland experience was in Singapore (for work). I speak a French un peu and poquito Espanol. I can order beer in Portuguese and I know how to say "Abandon all hope those who enter here" (Dante) in Italian, but I can't spell worth mierda in any language on my LJ. I've been married over half of my life (and I didn't marry at 15).
